HR services and manpower support in Qatar

HR services in Qatar, as we offer them, cover the staff side of a company under the Labour Law: HR consultancy, a hiring plan for the first employees, work visas and permits, Arabic contracts and HR policies, payroll through WPS, and staff training. We advise and prepare the documents. We do not recruit or supply staff.

What the Labour Law asks at each size

Most HR duties in Qatar start at a set number of workers, so the first question we ask is how many people you employ.

Common questions about HR services in Qatar

What HR services does a company in Qatar need when it hires its first worker?

The establishment card comes before anything else. It costs QAR 200, is issued with the commercial licence, and later labour and visa requests use its number. A worker from abroad then needs recruitment approval and a work visa. For every worker, local or not, there has to be an Arabic contract that the Ministry of Labour has attested, and pay goes through WPS. The two regulations, on work and on penalties, are not due until you take on a tenth person. Training duties grow as headcount does.

How much does HR outsourcing in Qatar cost?

Part of the cost of HR outsourcing in Qatar is set by the government. For two workers brought from abroad, the work visas are QAR 300 each and online attestation of their contracts is QR 60 each. That is QAR 720 before anyone is paid for the paperwork. What we charge is quoted separately. Mostly it depends on how many people you employ. A company where half the hires need visas, or that wants us to prepare the payroll every month, will pay more than one that only needs its missing policies written.

Before using one of the HR companies in Qatar, what should I check?

Look at its CR first. HR companies in Qatar that give advice should be registered for a consulting activity, and since the Single Window lists every activity with its requirements, that part is easy to check. Ask, too, which articles of the Labour Law its advice rests on. If the firm offers to bring workers in from abroad for you, it needs a Ministry of Labour licence for that, so ask to see it.

Do you supply staff or recruit workers?

No. Our work is advice and documents. Recruiting workers from abroad on behalf of other companies is a separate business that needs a Ministry of Labour licence, and it is not what we do. Your own company can recruit for itself once the ministry approves, and we prepare that request and the files that follow it.

Start with one number: how many people will be on your payroll a year from now?

Give us that figure along with today’s headcount. From the two we can show which rows of the size table you already fall under, and which you will reach during the year.
